                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
                   AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE AGREEMENT WITH
                   PIEDMONT OLSEN HENSLEY FOR PROVIDING
                   ADDITIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES TO CONTRACT
                   NO. 77, BROWNTOWN ROAD COLLECTION SYSTEM, IN
                   THE AMOUNT OF SIXTEEN THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED
                   DOLLARS ($16,500.00) FOR A TOTAL PROPOSED
                   COST NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED NINETY-FIVE
                   THOUSAND, NINETY DOLLARS ($295,090.00).
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       execution of Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with Piedmont Olsen 

       Hensley for providing additional engineering services to Contract 

       No. 77, Browntown Road Collection System, in the amount of
       $16,500.00 for a total proposed cost not to exceed $295,090.00.
